Out of convenience of location I have been a customer of the Cedar-Lee CVS for over two years. In this two year period there have been several Pharmacists come and go. As a result of high pharmacist turn over the customer service in this pharmacy is suffering (despite familiar and cordial pharm techs).

This may have been a reasonable decision on Beth's part had I been a new customer, an out of town customer, or the script was for a new medication; not a long standing customer filling a script for the same medication written in the same manner by the same doc as the 24 previous scripts filled at this location.

Consistent terrible experiences.

Always long wait, slow RX staff that's usually busy talking to each other. Medications never ready when promised. Parking is often an issue. Building smells like mold and is dirty. Ghetto patrons and you feel like you'll get robbed either walking in or once in the store. If it wasn't for Medicare/Medicaid and food stamps I'm not sure how they'd stay open.

Like today when the pharmacy is not open and hour late and counting.

Upon presentation of my written prescription, Beth went through the usual rigamarole..DOB, are you waiting, etc.. a perplexed/ sour look over came Beth's face which was followed with a very sarcastic question "did you see the doctor today?" Seeing that it was a Sunday, and not to mention New Years Day of course I had not seen my doc today. I explained that my doctor writes me three scripts per visit each dated one month apart, and he has written them in the same manner as every single previously filled prescription. Beth then stated "this is an illegal prescription, I do not feel comfortable filling it without verifying its legitimacy with the doctor." Essentially Beth was accusing me, a long standing customer, of passing a fraudulent prescription. Additionally, my doctor only works on Wednesday and Friday, and even if he worked on Monday, New Years Day is observed on Monday this year.

Today I arrived with a written prescription which was identical to the 24 other prescriptions that were filled by this pharmacy over the last 24 months. Instead of having my medication filled I was given the opportunity to become acquainted with store 3634's newest dud of a pharmacist...Beth.

CVS, and specifically store #3634 need to place a greater emphasis on fostering long term relationships with customers of the pharmacy and improve pharmacist retention which fosters a familiar neighborhood experience rather than cold rigid encounters. The "buck stops with the pharmacist" method of management should also be revised, because the MOD cannot supersede the decision of the almighty pharmacist. Very frustrating when having to deal with unreasonable (not guided by or based on good sense) pharmacists like Beth (who should not be working with customers in any way, shape, or form). She would be suited counting pills in a warehouse or developing film in a secluded dark room. So, I'm out of medication until Beth gets to flex for my doctor by teaching him how to correctly write a prescription... once she gets in touch with him. Happy New Year!

To make this experience even more frustrating, just 24 hours prior to my encounter with Ms. Beth I was told by a different pharmacist at this location that "because your doctor wrote tomorrow's date we cannot fill this until January 1st, 2017." This was frustrating enough seeing that it was a mere 4.5 hours before 1/1/2017, and I had just spent $15 on an Uber. Now I've wasted $30 paying for transportation to and from the pharmacy.
